Mesothelioma

Asbestos is a mineral made of long thing fibers and, in the past, very often used for insulation. When working with asbestos, its tiny fibers often become airborne and float around the work environment. Mesothelioma (also called malignant mesothelioma) is, fortunately rare, but unfortunately is a deadly form of cancer associated with inhalation of asbestos particles. The National Cancer Institute defines malignant mesothelioma as, “A rare type of cancer in which malignant cells are found in the lining of the chest or abdomen.”

Many lawsuits by people with mesothelioma against the manufacturers of asbestos have been brought, and the result is that many asbestos manufacturers set up trust funds to pay victims of mesothelioma. Thus, many victims of mesothelioma can hire an attorney (on a contingency basis) to handle a claim for compensation without even having to file a lawsuit.

If you live in California and have been diagnosed with malignant mesothelioma or are a family member of someone who died from mesothelioma, you should know that attorney and physician Paul J. Molinaro is available to answer your legal questions and help you determine whether you are entitled to compensation. You can reach Paul J. Molinaro, M.D. J.D. toll free at (888)MDJDLAW. The initial consultation is also free, and if Paul determines that you have a case, and you decide to hire Paul, he will represent you on a contingent basis.
